The hotline service is available 24 hours. Offers therapy, support, and advocacy for victims of rape and sexual assault, for sexually abused children and families, for adult survivors of child sexual abuse, and for others touched by sexual violence. Through the years MOCSA has enhanced and increased outreach, prevention, and education programs focused on children, youth, professionals, and community groups.

Kansas City’s only recovery program dedicated solely to victims of prostitution and commercial sexual exploitation. The ability to leave a life of prostitution, drug addiction, and violence, and transition to a new life, free from these abuses is difficult. The overall goal of Veronica’s Voice (VV) is offer compassionate and non-judgemental counseling and services through peer, survivor-ran services. VV offers individuals who are sexually exploited an opportunity to be educated and empowered to take back their lives.

24 hour hotline. SAFEHOME provides a healing atmosphere where survivors of domestic violence can gain inner strength, build self-esteem, explore options, and establish a life free of violence. Services focus on education, prevention, crisis-intervention, and long-term community support. SAFEHOME is one of six domestic violence shelters, and is the only program of services for victims of domestic violence in Johnson County.

Synergy Services, Inc. began in 1970 as Synergy House, the only shelter for runaway and homeless youth in western Missouri. Synergy provides a full continuum of care to assist individuals and families with immediate respite from violence, and services which empower clients to find and choose good options for future safety and success. Our fully integrated programs include crisis hotlines, emergency shelter, transitional housing, therapeutic services, advocacy, mentoring, and violence prevention programs throughout Greater Kansas City.
